Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centres in Lahore and in Peshawar are projects of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, which is a charitable organization established under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 of Pakistan.
Last year, your Zakat made it possible to provide financially supported treatment to 75% of our cancer patients. This year, we need Rs. 39 billion rupees to help those who cannot afford to pay for their own treatment. While the revenue from the Hospital’s diagnostic services has always, and continues to be utilised for our expansion projects, it is your Zakat that is the hope of life for our deserving cancer patients. Give your Zakat generously to SKMCH&RC and help us keep this hope alive.
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust collects and disburses Zakat in accordance with Islamic principles for the treatment of deserving patients, and has independent certification confirming that all its Zakat processes are Shariah compliant.
